Montreux Jazz Festival Miami expands to five nights, closing with Elena Rose and Bomba Estéreo
A five-night schedule adds Miami Beach dates before the festival returns to Coconut Grove
Montreux Jazz Festival Miami is set to return in 2026 with an expanded, five-night format that places performances in two waterfront settings across the city. The third Miami edition is scheduled for February 25 through March 1, 2026, opening with two nights at the Miami Beach Bandshell before moving to The Hangar at Regatta Harbour in Coconut Grove for the weekend program.
The schedule adds midweek programming to a festival that previously centered on a three-night weekend run. Organizers have said capacity is intentionally limited to preserve an intimate concert experience, with a restricted nightly ticket allotment.
Programming highlights: Miles Davis centennial tribute, cross-genre headliners, and Latin-pop presence
The 2026 opening night on Wednesday, February 25, is built around a Miles Davis centennial theme, anchored by Miles Electric Band and Kind of Blue Acoustic Band. The Thursday, February 26 program at the Bandshell features drummer and producer Makaya McCraven.
Weekend performances shift to The Hangar, a venue in Coconut Grove’s Regatta Harbour area. Friday, February 27, is structured as a New Orleans-focused celebration co-hosted by Jon Batiste and led by Trombone Shorty, with additional billed guests including PJ Morton, Tank (of Tank and the Bangas), and La Reezy. Saturday, February 28, features Nile Rodgers & CHIC and TOTO, with Adi Oasis also on the bill. The closing night on Sunday, March 1, pairs Colombian group Bomba Estéreo with Venezuelan-American singer and songwriter Elena Rose, alongside Cuban percussionist and vocalist Pedrito Martinez.
