Non-resident parking in South Beach garages is currently subject to a $40 flat rate, which may be increased to $100 at the city manager's discretion during peak hours. License plate readers remain active on the MacArthur and Julia Tuttle causeways, and security checkpoints are in place at beach entrances to ensure public order.
